Adult Leader Training Opportunities
"Every Scout Deserves a Trained Leader"
ALL of the following courses are required for an Adult to be considered "Trained" as a Leader
- Youth Protection Training
- Should be completed by ALL Scout Parents
- Completed online (see information & link below)
- Assistant Scoutmaster Job Specific Training
- Boy Scout Outdoor Leader Skills Training (campout)
Once a course is completed, you should have it recorded with our Advancement Chairman and the Council. BSA On-line Courses can be found at the following website: http://olc.scouting.org/ You will be asked to create a MYScouting E-Learning Account. You need to enter 'Winnebago' for our Council. You will be asked for your 'Member ID'. This is not required but is listed on your BSA Membership Card. If you are a Registered Leader and don't know your ID number, you can call the Winnebago Council and ask them. If you are not yet registered, you can leave this field blank.

- Assistant Scoutmaster Job Specific Training and Boy Scout Outdoor Leader Skills Training (campout)
- These courses require attendance at events offered by Winnebago Council
- Watch the Scouter for information when the next class will be held
- Register your completion on-line with the Winnebago Council/Wabuha District:
- Health & Safety Courses
- Climbing, Swimming, Floating, Hiking, Hazardous Weather and more
- Complete Online
