Wolves and moose, the wild North Woods forest, everchanging weather, a cool climate, the crystal clear waters and rugged shoreline of Lake Superior characterize Isle Royale National Park.

You take the ferry to the Island and are dropped off at McCargo Cove.

Isle Royale is a beautiful Island in Northern Michigan.

While the beaches were beautiful, the hills more
than made up for it.

You have to filter all of your water.

After gaining over 300' in elevation in under 3 tenths of a mile
you have earned a break.

many snakes on such a small island?

spiders on the island?

They really do have moose on the island.

Luckily, no injuries from moose encounters.
