2005 Yellow River camp out

Troop 55 April 2005 Yellow River Forest State Park
	Look at all of those scout tents and how organized they are!
We had lots of adults at the camp out. The adults have a different idea of a straight line.
	The Dragons had fun cooking breakfast. As a new patrol, they showed what teamwork can do.

Yellow River Forest has some really steep and long hills. The scouts take a needed break. .
	The older scouts were working on the Camping Merit Badge. Andy explains how to use a whisperlite stove. They had fun and learned a lot.
We had a small creek to cross. Good thing those boots are waterproof.
	During the hike, we went to a DNR sawmill. It's hard to believe the size of the building and saw.
The Dragon Patrol and adult leaders went to Effigy Mounds for their hike.
	There are some steep hills as they learned.
There was a lot to learn about the burial mounds the Indians made. .
	There are some amazing views from the lookouts.

	The final cleanup walk of the camp. Great weather for early April, lots of scout, great food - who could ask for more? What a great camp out.
