October 2008 Camp Matigwa Camp Out | |
| This was our first time to stay at Camp Matigwa. We were supposed to be at a campsite and stay in tents. However, they had shut off the water, so we were moved to a cabin. | |
It was a very nice cabin. |
| The first night always starts with a Cracker Barrel. |
Then the scouts spent the rest of the night with multiple games. |

The plan for the morning - a one mile orienteering course. The weather was beautiful, and it was a great chance for the newer scouts and those who needed Orienteering for their First Class to finish a requirement. Al goes over the directions. |

| Then everyone had their chance to climb. There was always a safety line when you climbed and a person hooked to it to lower you down after the climb. There were three sides to climb, each a little different than the others. | |
