Eagle Cave January 2009
Eagle Cave in Wisconsin is an amazing natural formation. Discovered in the 1800's , it has been a tourist attraction for many years. They have a popular option to stay and sleep in the cave. The weekend we were there, we were among about 250 others who stayed in the cave. This option is only available during the winter.
The entrance to the cave. As the cave generally is 52 degrees, there is steam that rises up everytime the door is opened.
Each group is assigned an area to sleep. There are areas throughout the entire cave. Some very dry, others damp. |

This was a really fun camp out. Everyone enjoyed exploring the cave. Seeing a few sleeping bats. Sleeping in the cave was a great experience. I would highly recommend this adventure to all. |
