Camp Klaus September 2010
This was our first time at Camp Klaus. What a beautiful camp. Lakes, woods, a C.O.P.E. course - high and low, and a climbing and rappelling tower.
A nice line of tents. | |
Cooking a hearty breakfast. I wonder whats the plan for today. |
Finishing breakfast and ready for action.
The older boys started with some low C.O.P.E. activities |
The woods had a beautiful waterfall going through it.
What a view! |
An amazing setting | |
After finishing low COPE, it was time for the climbing and rappelling tower. |
Looks easy doesn't it? No easy, but lots of fun.
Can he catch up? |
Do adults have any fun on the activities? I think the smile says it all.
how about the smile on Adam? |
Looks kind of steep on the way down.
After the first step, its easy. |
Mark shows the boys how its done.
The final activity was high C.O.P.E. Oh, Yea, looks like fun!!! |
How about a monkey bridge to start?
Followed by a zipline. |
Maybe and Indiana Jones bridge?
The scouts and scouter who did the high activity |
While those scouts and scouters were doing the high activities, the younger scouts were working with Al. They finished up many of the requirements for Tenderfoot, 2nd and 1st Class. A good day for all. |
