OA Conclave September 2010
Our Order of the Arrow Lodge is now part of a new region. This was the first Conclave since changing. Camp Phillips looks like a beautiful camp. Lots to do there.
We had a bus drive us there and back. It was a long drive, so the bus was appreciated. Not a bad way to travel!
First thing they noticed was a beautiful lake. The camp has several large lakes. |
Looking up toward the campsite.
The cabins were nice |
Walking toward one of the main areas. More shelters set up here.
The map gives you an idea of the size of the camp. |
The main hall. Several large group meetings held here.
Another view |
Then out to the field. | |
A few friendly games. |
Aaron finds a good pertch, as Jesse and Ryan look up at him
What a beautiful chapel! |
Our crew | |
The Cub Scouts have their own fort. Mighty nice one, too! |
The courtyard. | |
Every fort must have towers. |
Another view of the courtyard and picnic area.
There is one large building for group activities. |
our crew at the fort | |
What more could you ask for? But, where to start? |
They started with the obstacle course.
Of course, a cub scout obstacle course is a little small for boy scouts. |
The net was fun | |
Jesse, he's catching you. |
Rope swings are always fun
The climbing tower was small, but looked fun. |
Mini golf?. | |
and finally, the main ceremony. |
| |
The Conclave ended with a closing campfire.. |
Everyone who went, had nothing but great things to say about the Conclave. If you are in OA, don't miss the next one! |
