Red_Flannel is always fun. It is a special winter campout. You camp outside for 24 hours, and if the temperature remains under 32 degrees, you qualify for the Winnebago Council Red Flannel patch. All cooking must be done outside.
We usually do this at Ingawanis at the Ranger camp site. We use the adirondacks.
We had enough scouts and adults that both dining flys were set up. |
|
Others just put a tarp over the front of the adirondack.
A few of the sleeping bags inside. |
|
Need a little wood for a fire?
A good size dining area. |
|
Lots of room inside and a good wind break.
convenient having the trailer very close. |
|
Always a fire at our campouts.
Another adirondak with wind break. |
|
Getting ready to cook supper.
The older scouts show the younger ones how to a log. |
|
Even the adults had fun.
You know the scouts had fun. |
