Flambeau 2013

Troop 55 started a Venture Patrol this year. The patrol decided they wanted their big activity to be a 50 mile canoe
trip on the Flambeau River in Wisconsin. 2 nights would be spent camping along the river.

Friday night was spent at the Flambeau Lodge. They ahd some time to canoe around the lake.

The rapids in the morning..

On the last kayak run in the rapids, the kayak paddle got lost in a wipeout.
Ben lashed 2 canoe paddles together. It worked great for the last 9 miles back to the lodge.
