Klondike Derby 2016 | |
| The Klondike Derby is a yearly event put on by the Winnebago Council. Each crew has a list of items that they need to have to complete the challenge. The challenge consists of going to 6 "cities", talk to the mayor, and complete the challenge and head to the next city. In theory, each group has a sled to go through the snow. Who would think that it would be 50 degrees in mid February and have MUD??? | |

First Aid. He fell, borke his leg. Get him to safety. |

After splinting the leg, they created a stretcher and carried him to safety. Yea, full points (again). |

Lunch was hotdogs, grill your own, and soup. |

There were 2 lunch stations. They were very busy. |

Yes, there was mud, and more mud. |

They had to identify skins, bones, critters and trivia. |

The next station was build a fire using a maximun of 3 matches. |

The last station was orienteering. An eagle was watching what they were doing. |

Both teams did great! The other crew got 59 out of 60 points. They got all 60 points and lost the tie breaker. Awesome job to both teams! |
